Sewing Guild Ministry

Who We Are

 The Sewing Guild offers a unique way to serve God within our parish. This group of women shares their sewing talent by repairing and altering existing liturgical garments as well as creating new ones. The skill levels range from beginner sewer to advanced sewer with plenty of opportunity for all.

We meet with our pastor once a year to discuss new ideas and plan for needed projects. Some work can be done at home at your own pace but most times we prefer to gather together in Fr Shea Hall to work as a group.

Here are some of the projects we have repaired and/or created:

  • Purificators
  • Altar Cloths
  • Processional Banners
  • Collection Bags
  • Chasubles with matching stoles and ambo covers
  • Cope with matching stole and ambo cover
  • Minister of the Eucharist robes
  • Choir robes
  • Altar server robes
